Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the carpentry industry, with a strong background in both residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall materials according to project specifications.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding.
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) White Card certification is preferred.
